Pronav Hgv: Explanation of the Screen

As the ProNav HGV features a widescreen display, there is a lot of temptation to clutter the screen. ProNav have not done this, opting for a crisp and clean display. This is perfect, given the context in which the system is to be used.

1. A pictorial version of the next instruction is displayed at the top left of the screen. It is large in size which makes understanding it at a glance slightly easier.
2. The time is displayed on screen. It is a slightly redundant feature but the chances are it would be missed if it was not there!
3. Time to destination and Distance to destination are handy statistics, especially if you need to provide accurate guesses to the traffic office, or your customer.
4. Finally, the Current road / Next road features shows the road you are on and the next road you are turning onto. Personally, just the next road name would have been sufficient although if you are asked which road you are on, you will instantly be able to reel off the name.
