The ProNav HGV has been designed for commercial vehicle drivers although it is suitable for cars as well. As it is targeted towards a specific market, they have built several features into the system making it perfect for drivers of large vehicles.

Specific Navigation Restrictions

You can supply the system with various factors that will restrict the routing. Tell it your vehicle height, length, width, weight, axle weight and whether you are carrying hazardous materials and it will prepare a route tailored to those requirements.

Potential Hazards

The system will warn you about steep hills, grounding possibilities, crosswinds and sharp bends, helping you to prepare a safe and viable route.

Commercial Driver Point Of Interest (POI) File

unlike car drivers, it is vital to know where you can stop, either as part of Driving Hours Regulations / Working Time Directive or for when you are delivering. You'll find built-in POI locations of truck stops, HGV petrol stations, London loading bays and cafes.
