Tomtom Go 520 Traffic: Quick Summary
part of our review of the Tomtom Go 520 Traffic on Monday 19th May 2008
Who's It For
- Business people on the road a lot
- Private consumers looking for a little bit more than just a sat nav system
What's Good About It?
- Great build quality and excellent screen size and clarity
- Precise mapping
- Useful data displayed on the map, such as estimated time of arrival and estimated distance
What's Bad About It?
- The TomTom Home 2 software seems to not be compatible with the Go 520 Traffic at present as it still doesn't sync with it.
- The mount fell off twice during a journey
- The free traffic data didn't demonstrate it's capability during a 7 day road trip
What Should Be Changed?
We would like to see a better quality mount, perhaps with a locking lever. A case supplied with the kit would be nice too.
