Navman N40: Appearance

The Navman N40i won't win any 'beauty' awards from us but it would win a 'features' award. The small 3.5 inch screen would normally hinder the performance of a sat nav system as there's a small amount of space to play with. How do you determine what gets priority on the display?

The N40 gets around this problem by featuring 5 quick access buttons to the right of the screen. They are very handy but more importantly, it takes items off the screen, freeing up space for other aspects such as the mapping itself.

The N40 has been superseded by the S range but nevertheless, it is still available and at competitive prices at the time of writing.
