Navman S90: Windscreen Mount
part of our review of the Navman S90 on Monday 9th June 2008
The screen mount supplied with the S90 looks chunky at first glance but is very practical and robust. The S90 attaches via a 1cm runner that sites under 2cm of plastic on the S90. This keeps it firmly attached and makes it a breeze to remove. The cigarette lighter power charger slides onto the mount along a small runner. As you push the system down onto the mount runner, it docks with the power cable at the bottom. It's a clever design that helps to ensure the power cable is connected every time you use the mount.
The mount features a ball-and-socket joint so it's very easy to move the system into a position that suits your needs.
Better still, the mount features a locking lever to ensure a firm grip to the windscreen. It's so effective it even managed to stick firmly to the cardboard box it comes in!
