Binatone Carrera T430 Uk: Screen Photographs
part of our review of the Binatone Carrera T430 Uk on Monday 11th August 2008
The Binatone T430 UK is powered by the Windows CE platform. just like Windows XP or Windows Vista, the navigation tool is an application and hence needs to be started when the system is powered from new. Once into the mapping software, you're presented with an array of choices.

The T430 sees Binatone switch to TeleAtlas maps and with it, a change in Point of Interest (POI) data. The data doesn't seem to be organised too well although the search is incredibly powerful.

The Binatone T430 offers a selection of features usually seen on higher end models. A selection of route overview tools are supplied. For example, the photo below shows a text summary of the route but there is also a map view and a route demo so you can watch the route planned.

The routeing screen, like the rest of the screens, is simple to use and offers intuitive options.
