Tomtom Go 930 Traffic: Quick Summary
part of our review of the Tomtom Go 930 Traffic on Friday 24th October 2008
Who's It For
- Business users
- Private consumers looking for more than just a sat nav system
What's Good About It?
- Great build quality and excellent screen size and clarity
- Precise mapping
- Intelligent lane guidance
- Useful data displayed on the map, such as estimated time of arrival and estimated distance
What's Bad About It?
Apart from the maps, additional storage and a couple of minor features, this does not seem to be a great difference from the rest of the Go x30 range. The main difference seems to be that the 530 comes with UK maps, the 730 comes with additional Western European maps and the 930 comes with additional American and Canadian maps. Good for some users, not so for others.
What Should Be Changed?
It would be great if the RDS-TMC cable could be integrated into the system itself. Fewer cables is always better.
Perhaps some 'gimmicks' would make for a better system. Rivals offer reversing cameras and built-in cameras which have their merits.
Maps
Europe, USA and Canada maps are supplied
