Tomtom Go 930 Traffic: Advanced Lane Guidance

Advanced Lane Guidance is a new feature only available as of the x30 range. The concept behind it is simple. When on a motorway, it can be confusing which lane you need to be in. Sure "keep right" means keep right but in which lane?

Before the junction you are to turn off, the screen changes from a map to a signpost, with green flashing arrows indicating which lane you should be in.

Here's an example:

Notice how the screen clearly indicates which lane should be used, not only via the green arrow but through the small white arrows in the bottom left hand corner of the screen.

This screen shows for motorway exits and junctions making motorway journeys significantly less stressful, especially wher there are several junctions within a short space of time or where the motorway splits into two new ones.
